And how's he helping, exactly? Did you get a list of everything he's done? References? Double-check everything he says? How long's he been in Wonderland? Is he on a team like Team Flash?

[ what he wants to say is: you can't just trust anyone who says they're from a similar world with similar experiences. truthfully, though, that's what should be said to himself. ]

Does he have a first name or is this like a Brandy/Prince/Madonna/Sting kind of situation? Because you can't trust anyone who thinks they're as good as Madonna.

Because they're not.

He can understand the apprehension, they don't have the best track record of people helping them out being legit.]

I get this is completely ironic because I'm BARTHOLOMEW.

[ and bartholomew is a hilarious name to have, but that's not where his mind wanders. he thinks to follow up on wanting some references, and reminding cisco he'll gladly supply references for everyone he speaks to if need be. instead, there's silence on his end for a minute before he even lets himself send: ]

Why didn't she come to me?

[But all joking aside, that last text after a solid minute or so of silence makes his heart sink. He doesn't have an answer for that.]

» For what it's worth, she didn't really come to me for help on this, either. I just sort of badgered my way into helping her when she came back kinda Killer Frost shaped.
» For every bit of there for us she is, Caitlin's not actually great at asking for help, Barry. She's too stubborn. She's been like that since I met her.

[ if the odd name isn't a form of francisco or bartholomew, it's how barry's going to start judging people. it might save them wasting time befriending someone who's going to shove a knife in their backs. ]

[ there's one name to scratch off the "trust" list, and that's wonderland. it's quickly become the reason for so much going haywire, even if it's often temporary in the form of its events. ]

There's probably an equivalent to a "Shrink Me" potion cure in Wonderland somewhere. I'll find it.

[Because Cisco doesn't. As much as he'd like to... Wonderland's hardly been that giving and nice to him in his stay here so far. He can't buy that it would offer up a solution so simple.]
