NAME: Bartholomew Barry Allen, not the Flash.
CANON: The Flash DCTV.
CANON POINT: 5x01. 6x01.
AGE: 29.
HEIGHT: 6'0".
BUILD: Tall, lanky, and athletic. Seems like he has boundless energy.

AFFECTION: Barry is an affectionate guy. He's not afraid to hug someone or help a little old lady or man across the road. That said, he does require some relationship to be overly affectionate. He's the type of person who will comfort you if you're sad and give you a hug. Despite how in touch with his feelings he may come off as, he is emotionally guarded.

RELATIONSHIPS: Barry's married at his canon point, so any romance would need to be slow burn. That said, I'm cool with shipping with him and I think it will be a lot of fun. His marriage would be a complex layer that I'm thrilled to play with if the other player is, too. I love shipping and I love shipping with Barry where there's chemistry.

I love writing out smut, although he isn't the type for one night stands. For this freak in the sheets to get down with it, it'll have to be with someone he trusts.

VIOLENCE: Despite being a superhero, Barry does not like violence! It's unnecessary and not needed, but he is a fighter. He was raised by a cop, knows how to throw a punch, and even can throw a sucker punch with his abilities. Barry is not prone to violence, but he will defend himself if need be.

Just a note: Barry would most likely overpower anyone he fights as the Flash because he has super speed and is pretty much faster than the speed of light by this point.

TELEPATHY: I'd prefer to have the option to opt in, solely so I can give telepaths enough information to work on! Barry is guarded, but he most likely doesn't have many mental blocks. He thinks very, very quickly, and has buried a lot of emotional trauma deep down inside of him.

Empaths are welcome to pick up his feelings, just let me know and I'll pack my tags with hooks!

Let's talk about mind control. He's been mind controlled by a gorilla (don't upset Grodd, ok) and will one day be mind controlled by goo aka Mohinder from Heroes. #yikes

PHYSICAL INFORMATION:
Barry has a few doppelgängers in his universe. His physical differences are simple: his hair is messy, he's always wearing converse shoes, and he dresses like a millennial. I think it is also safe to say he is the only Barry Allen who looks like him that is the Flash. Barry seems to hold restless energy 24/7 inside of him. He never sits still and never stands still. He talks and thinks very fast. He has no scars due to speed healing.

He also has a wedding ring and Flash ring on.

MENTAL INFORMATION:
Barry is super bubbly, but his mind would most likely be a dark place from all the trauma he's experienced as a kid and an adult. As the Speed Force often takes the form of his mother when speaking to him, his mental safe space would be in his house with her reading the Runaway Dinosaur.

His mind would be easy to read if he slowed down and let his thoughts trickle in like a Muggle.

Characters who can sense supernatural beings are welcome to suspect something is off about Barry. He is, after all, a meta-human who ended up becoming the lightning bolt that gave him his own powers.

For anyone with mind control, I think that this needs to be a case-by-case basis. His mind can be controlled by Grodd, a super powerful gorilla we should all stan, and considering how fast he thinks and his own ability to fight someone trying to mentally overpower him, I'd like to talk it out first! Totally open to it, though. (TVD vamps, let's chat and make this fun!)

The basics of his arc in game includes: dealing with his trauma (they keep piling it on the poor guy and yet he never gets to unpack it); dealing with the fact he's missing from his kid's life and essentially playing the absent parent both of his parents were to him (the show hardly deals with this); dealing with the fact he's finally happy and it all goes to shit in a few years because of Crisis (again, the show barely deals with this); dealing with where Savitar came from; dealing with his responsibility as the Flash vs his responsibility as Barry; and other shit.

Please do not out Barry Allen as the Flash.

I'm fine with game mechanics fourthwalling him. I don't really want him to be fourthwalled as a fictional character by PCs (I find this cracky). He's rich in character hooks for your character. If you have to absolutely fourthwall him, please talk to me first.

Barry Allen is the Director of the CSI Division in Central City Police Department. This can be because it's been established in canon that Barry's work is rather admired and of high quality, so people knowing of him throughout the Multiverse seems pretty sweet.

Barry Allen is married to Iris West (although, it would be cool for him to tell people this just because he gets all gushy!!).

The Flash is a superhero.

Another Earth Barry Allen is blonde.

I don't want Barry's identity as the Flash (and the Flash being Barry) to be common knowledge since I'm trying to play him smarter than the show likes to give him credit for!
