[ Perhaps it's a bit old-fashioned, but the message arrives for Barry via mockingbird. Sealed closed by a wax mockingbird sigil, the letter is hand-written in careful cursive. ]
Dear, Mr. Allen -
We have not spoken before, but my name is Petyr Baelish. I serve as the ambassador for Maurtia Falls. I write to you on behalf of a project I am working on within my city. Construction has already begun on rebuilding a much larger library, but I wish for this to be more than simply a bigger structure. I hope to inspire education and the spread of knowledge to the natives of Maurtia Falls as well as provide an invaluable resource to new arrivals here. But more than that, I wish to use it to pay homage to the natives who lost their lives within Maurtia Falls due to imPort related tragedies. Their names will be honored within the library itself and donations will be set up to be made to the families.
For this project to succeed, I need your help. If you are able to donate anything at all to the cause, it would be most appreciated -- whether that is books, money, or simply your time. I plan to put programs into place once the library is finished to have imPorts come in and read to the much younger generation. I believe it would be a great way to strengthen the native and imPort bond.
I thank you for your time, and I do hope to hear back from you soon.
Sincerely, Ambassador Petyr Baelish

[ holy shit, he got something delivered by bird. barry wishes he could tell joe this immediately and then ask wells if this is something that's ever existed on earth-2 and then explain the entire process to him to result in being lectured. ]
[ he reads the letter a few times over within a couple of minutes, and decides then and there perhaps it won't be so bad to revisit a time in his life where he'd been useful to his city. he can repair things within a few hours at the speed of light, and he can inspire people to run, he supposes. what can a new import like him do, if not extend a hand when asked? ]
Hey Ambassador Baelish.
#1 Cool bird.
#2 I'm in. I've got a lot of time. Not many books. Not much money. But I can help in other ways, all you need to do is lmk what else you're after and I'll see if I can deliver.
Ah, Mr. Allen! It's excellent to hear from you. The fact that you're willing to aid at all is most appreciated. I can think of a couple of things you could do to help -- the first is in construction. The second is helping with a few programs I intend to start within the library itself. It's really up to you what you would rather do.
What kind of programs? I work in the police department back home. If any of them are about crime, maybe I can help out.
I know someone who can help with construction. If you don't already have a team on hand. He's a bit ... quick. If you're impatient for things to be built.
Actually, while the programs would not be about the prevention or rehabilitation of crime, they are designed with one single goal -- encouraging natives to pick up skills that would help them gain legitimate employment. You may not have been here for long, but certainly it has not escaped your notice that Maurtia Falls has quite a problem with crime. Your expertise in police work could help prepare people interested in getting into the field of criminal justice. If you think it would be helpful, I wouldn't mind having you run a monthly class that is designed to let people know what to expect going into police work and how they could succeed in the field. I would pay you generously for the time you devote to the course.
[ A separate text comes afterward to address that definitely suspicious thing Barry said because Baelish totally hit the word limit on that first one. ]
As for your friend, I would definitely welcome his aid. We have a core team on hand with a revolving door of imPorts coming in every now and then to help out. But I am all for anyone who can help expedite the process.
Letter!
